2. Introduction to ZBP-5 (ZSM-5)
It is a kind of MFI type zeolite (zeolite is defined as porous crystalline aluminosilicates), it is a typical medium-pore zeolite composed characteristic 10 tetrahedral rings (10-membered-ring) with two channel systems in its 3D pore structure: one is zigzag channel system with pore size of 5.1Å x 5.5 Å, another one is straight channel system with pore size of 5.3Å x 5.6 Å, see figure 1
Formula：NanAlnSi96-nO192•16H2O，in which: n is the number of Al atoms, and it can be changed from 0 to 27
It is produced by hydrothermal synthesis
It can be used as catalysts (especially shape-selective catalysts), carriers, absorbents, etc.
