Bamhum is a new wind musical instrument made out of bamboo invented by Moa Subong, Nagaland, India which was launched by His Excellency Shri MM Jacob, Governor of Meghalaya on 3rd May 05 at Shillong. It is the easiest instrument to play. One needs to just hum a tune into the bamhole to get an enchanting flow of music. Size slightly bigger than a flute, also looks like a flute but the sound and mechanism is totally different. Prize is $ 50/-
