PROCEDURE FOR TTT AT TOGO TRIANGLE WATERS
1) Buyer and seller sign the sales and purchase contract agreement with banking co-ordinates.
2) Seller issues proof of product (POP) to buyer for verification and confirmation.
3) Buyer gives the seller the vessel details--valid charter party agreement (CPA),Q88 of the vessel and the authority to load (ATL).
4) Seller upon confirmation of the buyer's vessel, load his (seller) vessel and give NOR to the buyer's vessel.
5) Buyer places an irrevocable letter of credit (L/C),or a DLC or a bank guarantee in favor of the seller, to the seller's bank.
6) Seller issues ATB to buyer, and the buyer conducts Q&Q then transshipment takes place. Buyer then pays by SWIFT transfer of the money to seller's bank within 72 hours then vessel sails to destination.
