Papad is popular and tasty snack food of India. It is also known as Pappodum or Appalam. Papad is light, crispy and thin wafer like product.
It is made from Black, Green lentil flour, Rice, Ragi (Finger Millet),Jowar, Sago and other pulses of cereals flour. To get different flavours, we have to add salt, Asafoetida, Black Pepper, Green and Red chilly, Cumin, Garlic, Cardamom, Clove and Cinnamom in different proportion.
