Trade Lead Description:

LIVE LOBSTERS AVAILABLE FROM MADAGASCAR, KENYA & MOZAMBIQUE.
Species are Panulirus Ornatus, Panulirus Versicolor & Various Rock Lobsters.
Sizes for Ornauts: From 300 Grams to 2.5 Kgs up
Versicilor - From 200 to 700 Grams
Rock Lobsters - From 200 to 600/700 Grams.
Packing and Shipping protocol:
Live Lobsters are first stored in Lobsters Tanks. 2 hours prior to packing, the water Temp is lowered to 12 degrees to allow the Live Lobsters to sleep.
For packing, we use Styrofoam Boxes. (Expanded Polystyrene] Boxes & net weight of each Box for the Lobsters is 15 - 20 kgs dependent on sizes.
The coolant used are 4 sea water ice bottles.
We accept 8% mortality rate during supervision of shipment at unloading airport.
Port of loading are for:
Kenya - Nairobi airport
Mozambiqque: Shipment from Johannesburg
Madagascar: Antananarivo airport.
Total flight time do not exceed 20-22 hours including transit.
