Wiseline Company is a small/medium sized company situated in Tena estate in the eastern part of Nairobi. There are many hardworking Kenyans, both men and women, who have the gift of producing very artistic and beautiful items using locally available materials like wood, bones, animal skins and bones, sisal, etc., but are unable to find buyers for their products in the areas where they are located, like this group based in Tena market. When I noticed that some members were closing their businesses because they were unable to sustain themselves, I talked to them about starting a company that would deal with marketing of their products and this is how Wiseline Company was started. Since then, sales for the products have increased as they are of high quality and the artisans are happy and have been encouraged to work even harder bringing the need to look for a market outside the country.
