A small boutique wine merchant called The Humble Grape. Our mission is to bring rare wines from small producers in vineyards to your doorstep.
These are special wines that are hand crafted, limited in production and cannot be bought from the local supermarkets.
So far I only have French and Spanish wines, champagne and Cava with an 89 Armagnac.
The French wines are from a friend of mine who has been sourcing and importing from limited production vineyards for over 30 years - he is retiring in a few years time.
The Spanish wines are all also from relatively unknown high quality small vineyards crafted with a new world twist. It took me about a year to source these and again you cant buy these in the UK.
The business model is to host personal wine tastings at homes and business premises in order to identify the clients tastes and then make sure they get the wines within their preference range occasionally introducing something new.
