Gadda provides a sustainable market
alternative for an array of goods.
These
goods are hand crafted, and most
importantly eco-friendly. Gadda's main
export is jewelry made from the nut of
a
Tagua tree which resembles ivory.
Most of
Gadda's products are exported from
rural
communities of artisan fair trade
organizations. (The people who live in
small
villages near tagua forests, in the
inner
coastal area of Ecuador) and are the
main
beneficiary in the trade. Other
products
include hammocks, organic horn,
figurines,
and wood accessories, to name a few.
Gadda currently exports from Costa
Rica,
Ecuador, Vietnam, India and Peru, and
strives to provide stable income for
the
artist, enriching their lives and their
families. Gadda's intention is be kind
to the
planet and its people.
