Jijiga Export slaughter House (JESH) PLC is a state-of-the art export abattoir in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. Production and full operations are expected to begin in August 2013. At full production, JESH will process 2000 sheep/goat per 8-hr shift (20MT of chilled mutton) and 200 cattle (20MT of boneless beef). Chilled meat will be airlifted to any destination. Frozen meat will be shipped by ocean to any port in the world. There will also be animal by-products such as frozen red offals and frozen white offals. JESH is positioning to become one of the key exporters of red meat from Ethiopia. JESH has full support from the Government of Somali Regional State and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
JESH welcomes anyone interested in importing our chilled or frozen meat. JESH also welcomes sellers of live animals to supply the abattoir.
