The revolutionary Vitaflex soft-stretch hood is a necessity of primary facial protection. It is an innovative product at a substantially lower cost to you.

Our hoods can benefit your business and operations in adding to the technician’s safety and comfort, and it has received positive and enthusiastic acceptance from foam insulation, pest control, aircraft finishing and painting, grain elevator, mining, rock quarries, and waste management and recycling.

The Vitaflex soft-stretch hoods are made of newly available latex-free elastic nonwoven fabric and offer superior barrier functionality, stress-less comfort, and cost savings. They can be utilized anywhere there is a need for protection from dust, dirt, soot, debris, grease, liquid, or paint and chemical overspray. This hood can be worn alone, over a mask, or in conjunction with a respirator.

The barrier superiority of our hood comes from the ultrafine interstitial fiber openings of the triple-layer nonwoven structure, the comfort-stretch elasticity, and the water-repellent characteristics of the polypropylene (PP) fibers it is made from. However, the resistance to airflow through the material is nearly nonexistent. Furthermore, the hood material is homogenous polypropylene (PP). It is recyclable and incineration safe.

There are Full-cover and Open-face designs (see photo below). The Full-cover hood exposes the eyes only to provide maximum full facial coverage. Its 3-D under nose air-pocket design allows less-restricted air flow and breathability, reduces goggle fogging, and prevents moisture accumulation around the mouth area. The open-face hood has excellent flexibility of covering the user’s chin, or mouth and chin and allows access to the eyes and nose to accommodate goggles and PPE breathing apparatus It avoids goggle fogging while retaining its excellent form-fit and full coverage of the wearer’s hair.

Our hoods are far superior, greener, and cheaper than knitted cotton spray socks.
