The bee's are collecting the pollen from the flowers. The microscopic fine single particles are formed to
granules by adding small quantities of nectar, before being "glued" to
the rear legs of the busy insect. This technique enables the bee to forward the pollen to the hive. The
pollen is the main source of amino acids to the Bee's. In spring and summer they are able to collect large
quantities of pollen and the bees keeper has learned to harvest part of it.

Pollen contains more than 50 substancial nutritiants, as well as 20 different amino acids. Also a large
number of minerals, trace elements and vitamins have been found. All the ingredients are protected from
spoilage by a thin, but strong shell of cellulose.

The nourishing ingredients of the blossom pollen are protected by a shell of cellulose and hemi-cellulose.
Because the humans do not have the necessary encymes to digest cellulose, most of the pollen pass' the
body without any change.

Due to the elastic properties of the cellulose shell, it will not work just to grind the pollen, conventionally.
At very low temperatures the cellulose becomes brittle and can be crushed mechanically. To ensure that
all pollen are broken, the size of the primary particles must be smaller than 10 microns because this is the
size of the smallest type of pollen existing. About 5% of mineral processing aid is added to keep the
powder free flowing.
