Product Details Mavric Explorer Metric Systems Corporation Product Description: The Mavric™ Explorer combines – in a single, ruggedized, low-power package – all the elements required to build industrial wireless point-to-point, multi-point mesh and complex networks. Mavric Explorer’s integrated multiport, multi-protocol (RS-232/422/485 and Ethernet) communication gateway allows concurrent transport of multiple RTU/PLC, data acquisition and control sources to single or multiple locations. The Mavric Explorer interfaces with a wide range of industrial data transceivers and is suitable for the most challenging topologies, providing solutions for a variety of specialty applications. Typical applications include: Energy and transportation systems; fresh and waste water supply and distribution systems; seismic, mining, emergency-preparedness and other specialized applications; oil, gas, pipeline or tanks; railroads, defense and public works. Features - Mavric Explorer’s powerful 32-bit embedded Wireless Networking Engine (WNE) supports a wide range of commercial and industrial radios, as well as RS-232 and Ethernet-based devices. - Built-in Windows®-based network configuration and monitoring tools make building and managing wide-area networks quick and easy. - Standard network interfaces: Ethernet 10BaseT, RS-232 console port, 4 user-configurable RS-232 wireless or device ports. - Supports all licensed (VHF, 200 MHz, UHF, 700 MHz, MAS) and unlicensed (900 MHz, 2.4 and 5.8 GHz) radios. - Ruggedized wireless outdoor RF units available for unlicensed 903-928 MHz, 2.4 GHz bands.
