In 1860 merchants Aram and Berka Turovski brothers based in Chernihiv a factory for manufacturing vodka from grain into the wine. In 1865 Turovski’s vodka got creditable letters at exhibition subjects of the agricultural industry. The plant successfully worked till October revolution and started working again after it. Chernihiv liquor-vodka plant had a status of enterprise of “union Plant” that means it was well known and their production were in great demand.
In 2001 collective of labor workers created The Closed Joint-stock Company Chernihiv liquor-vodka plant “Chernihivska Horilka”.
During the period of creating the plant had been working on introduction of the newest technologies and expansion of assortment:

On a line of pouring was established auxiliary system of clearing vodka and liquor-vodka products;
Vodka is made under classical schemes with the usage of the newest technologies at clearing vodka with a help of dry milk and birch coal which is specially bought in Perms areas since 1860;
For manufacture of vodka the water takes from an artesian chink by depth more than 700 meters;
For protection against fakes the entered printer installation for drawing date of manufacture;
Vodka spreads in the exclusive decorated bottle made on branch under the individual order which shows protection against fakes.
Souvenir production in glass and porcelain container is made;

Technologists of Joint-Stock Company, “Chernihivska Horilka” have more than 30 years of the experience of work at the given enterprise and constantly work above updating of assortment.
Production of a factory is not unitary noted on international testing competitions by the maximum awards. At present in an active of a factory of 17 gold medals, the highest award “Grand-Pree”, and as a medal ”The Best trade mark of Ukraine”.
