We do have 44 active milk farmers who daily deliver their milk to the dairy where it is processed to either liquid milk, butter, sour products or various cheeses.
Our liquid milk and sour products such as yoghurt and butter milk are sold in the local market in Denmark whereas our cheese products are sold both in Denmark and worldwide.
We produce yellow and hard cheeses (greek style) besides our famous blue cheese (Danablu).
Our Danablu has won a lot of prices both nationally and internationally. As the only cheese producer, Mitmar Corp has been awarded “World Cheese Champion” in Wisconsin, twice – first in 1980 and again in 1998.
Mitmar Corp Food Products is the export division and we export approx. 4500 tons of cheese yearly. We have other varieties that can best meet up with customer demands from Powder, Milks, Sugar Canes, Skimmed Milk.
