COMGREFAR, Community Green Farming, is a group of farmers from the Mbanga area who have joined together wanting to farm 220ha of degraded forest by growing oil palm trees, citrus trees and yams for a profitable endeavor. By being aware of current market trends and the increasing global, as well as domestic demand for edible oil, bio fuels, citrus and yams they hope to make this a profitable venture. They have researched the alternatives, have a work plan in place, as well as an informed, trained management team.
Their objectives are also to help alleviate the food shortage in Africa, Cameroon, and specifically in the Mbanga area. They wish to make several foods available to the local market, which are at times in short supply (edible palm oil, yams and various citrus fruits).
We are regularly Selling: cocoa, peper, orange, cassava, bananas, coco yam, calaba yam, peanple, colanuts.
We are regularly Buying: plastic paper, cocoa seeds, plantain sucker, spray pump, medcine, fertiliazer, moto pump, spray canns, buckets. |
