Product Details RTB Socks Rock-a-Thigh Baby Product Description: Rock-a-Thigh Baby™ (launched on January 1, 2010) was created back in October 2007, by Jennifer, a mom of four young daughters. (A fifth daughter, Joelle, Jordan's identical twin sister, passed away at 6 months in-utero due to complications related to Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, or TTTS.) It was during one chilly Wisconsin spring evening in 2007 that Jen recognized the need for a sock that gives full leg coverage and stays up and stays on little feet and legs. Jen took her youngest daughter (at the time) out for a walk while wearing her in a baby carrier. Noticing that the exposed parts of her daughter's legs (between the pant leg and sock) were cold, Jen went home to dress her little girl warmer. Not wanting to hassle with taking off all the layers of clothing her daughter was wearing to bother putting on a pair of cumbersome tights, Jen improvised by quickly snipping the legs off a pair of yarn tights and using rubber bands to keep them up, creating a makeshift pair of baby thigh-highs. Later that night Jen searched online for thigh-length baby socks. Much to her frustration and surprise, she couldn't find any. She also thought about how much time she wasted searching for little socks that were missing in action, and knew that well designed thigh-length socks wouldn't slip off or be easily pulled off. Thus, the idea for her baby thigh-highs was born. Over the next two years, Jen worked to identify a U.S. manufacturer who could realize her dream of making her socks an American-made "green" product. She also researched cuffs to find which styles won't twist or roll down, and studied children's fashion trends and created over 35 stylish sock designs using skills she acquired from UW-Madison, where she majored in Interior Design several years earlier. The end result? Rock-a-Thigh Baby™, a superior baby thigh-high sock that is eco-friendly and USA made. RTBs are "Kiddie socks that rock and stay up on top!"
